Upgrading to Office 2013

The first thing you'll see when you open Microsoft Office is a clean, new look. But the features you know and use are still there — along with some new ones that are huge time savers.

Microsoft Office 2013 is a cloud-integrated revision of the software which works with smartphones, tablets, and even on PCs that don't have Office installed. So now you can always get to your important files, no matter where you are or what you're using.

If you are already using Microsoft Office 2010 M.S Planet Computer Training has an update presentation ready to take your staff through the new features which will have them quickly up to speed. In the version Microsoft Office 2013, changes have been made to:

  • Redesigned Start screen
  • Skydrive Integration
  • Syncing across devices
  • PDF Editing
  • New graphical options in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher and even Outlook
  • Ability to return to the last viewed or edited location in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Easier Charting in Microsoft Excel
  • New slide designs, animations and transitions in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Security settings
  • New features with scheduled tasks in Microsoft Outlook
  • Account Login

If you are upgrading from Microsoft Office 2003 you will be confronted with many changes. For example, the Menu Bar has disappeared, the Toolbar layout has changed, how to open a file is not immediately obvious, plus there are other changes which will reveal themselves as you work through the program.

M.S Planet Computer Training has a 2 hour presentation that delivers a thorough overview of the changes including demonstrations of common functions and allows ample time for questions from participants.

These 2 hour introductions to Microsoft Office 2013 can be followed up with individual or roving training as may be required.
